U.S. Click Labs Acquires UK AI Startup Evermile to Enhance AI-Driven Retail Operations for SMEs

Click Labs Inc., a U.S.-based SaaS leader in logistics and delivery software, has announced its acquisition of Evermile, a London-based AI retail operations platform designed for SME retailers. This acquisition enhances Click Labs’ presence in retail technology, integrating advanced automation and AI for small to mid-sized retailers globally.

Omer Goldschmidt, Co-founder and CEO of Evermile, stated, “Evermile aims to bridge the technology gap for independent retailers. Our goal has always been to enable small teams to compete effectively without needing complex tools or large teams. Joining Click Labs allows us to expand our mission globally across various markets, verticals, and models.”

Founded in 2022 by Omer Goldschmidt, Ynon Cohen, and Omry Hochberg, Evermile operates as a “virtual operations manager” for contemporary retail, automating workflows typically managed manually by SME teams. Its AI Agents and orchestration engine handle tasks like order prep, delivery assignment, SLA tracking, support resolution, and customer engagement, improving time efficiency, consistency, and satisfaction.

Since its 2023 launch, Evermile has managed hundreds of thousands of orders and supported thousands of independent UK retailers, partnering with brands like Ottolenghi, CakeBox, and Paul’s Bakery. It has aided growth in food, fashion, wine, pharmacy, and other retail sectors.

Samar Singla, CEO of Click Labs, remarked, “Evermile offers outstanding technology, operational expertise, and a beloved platform. Together, we aim to simplify operations, enhance experiences, and support growth in a competitive market.”

With AI transforming ecommerce, SMEs face pressure to improve operations and customer experience without large teams, tech capabilities, or budgets like major brands. This acquisition provides a solution: enterprise-grade automation tailored for smaller businesses. The merged platform aims to boost product innovation, streamline operations, and enable retailers to provide connected, personalized experiences at scale.

The deal marks Click Labs’ entry into retail operations, offering retailers a comprehensive platform covering the entire customer journey, from checkout to delivery and post-purchase experience.

Evermile will remain a standalone brand while its technology is integrated into Click Labs’ products, such as JungleWorks, Tookan, Yelo, and Hippo, and expanded into key markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.

This acquisition aligns with a trend of consolidation in logistics and retail tech, driven by changing retailer expectations. Recent transactions, like DoorDash’s acquisition of SevenRooms, Uber’s investment in Trendyol, and GlobalE’s purchase of ReturnGO, highlight the demand for unified platforms that streamline operations.
