About Young Americans For Liberty
Emerging from the 2008 Ron Paul Presidential Campaign, Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) is the largest pro-liberty youth organization in the U.S., aiming to create a strong network of activists to turn states into freedom strongholds.
Our 3-step “Build – Elect – Pass” strategy is fostering real shifts in America’s political landscape:
- Build: We are constructing a nationwide movement of dedicated young activists on American college campuses, with chapters in over 500 colleges and more than 327,000 students involved.
- Elect: Activate our network of engaged youth activists to provide grassroots support for campaigns of liberty-minded legislators through Operation Win at the Door. Since 2018, we’ve developed a group of 400 active legislators in our National Liberty Legislator Coalition.
- Pass: Leverage this group of committed liberty legislators to enact transformative policies at the state level. This coalition has successfully passed over 750 liberty-focused bills, including those on Universal School Choice, Constitutional Carry, significant tax reductions, and more.
