Dutch AI Software Company Aizy Secures €1.5 Million to Enhance SME Marketing Strategies

Breda-based technology company aizy, specializing in AI-driven online marketing software, has announced a €1.5 million funding round to enhance its software development, aimed at helping SMEs improve their online marketing efforts with reduced campaign management time. The investment comes from existing backer Michiel Mol and new investors Gijs Nagel and Joost van der Klooster, with incoming Marketing & Technology Director Niels Buijs also acquiring a stake.

“This €1.5 million funding marks a significant achievement for Aizy. It allows us to advance our AI-driven marketing platform, grow our team, and expand globally. Our goal is to deliver top-notch marketing automation to every SME – and this investment significantly advances us towards that target,” shared Founder Stefan Nuijten with EU-Startups.

Founded in 2024 by Stefan Nuijten, aizy’s AI tools provide SMEs the ability to automate and optimize their online marketing on platforms like Google, Facebook, and Instagram using AI and aizy’s expert insights. This reportedly enhances online marketing ROI and enables business owners to concentrate on business expansion.

Aizy was initially funded by Stefan Nuijten and tech investor Michiel Mol (Founder of Lost Boys), who had already supported the rapidly growing company. The startup has eleven employees and achieved €1 million in ARR within six months.

Within a month, twelve investors showed interest in aizy. Following scrutiny, the firm welcomed Gijs Nagel (Founder of DEGIRO) and Joost van der Klooster as new investors.

Gijs Nagel commented, “The blend of aizy’s intuitive AI tools with human expertise was compelling – I wanted to be involved.”

Nuijten stated, “Aizy has surpassed expectations, demonstrating product-market fit. With €1.5 million in growth capital, we’re set to enhance our AI marketing software significantly, making it smarter and more accessible to the thousands of SMEs worldwide who find online marketing complex.”

On October 1, Niels Buijs, with 15+ years in global marketing and go-to-market strategies, will join aizy as Marketing & Technology Director, focusing on international expansion and acquiring equity. Buijs remarked, “AI is revolutionizing online marketing, and aizy’s innovative service stands out in the market. My experience at companies like Exact and CM.com fuels my eagerness to contribute to aizy’s rapid growth.”
