Click Labs Inc., a SaaS company focused on logistics and hyperlocal commerce, has acquired Evermile, an AI platform based in London and Tel Aviv that streamlines retail operations for SMEs. The financial details were not revealed.
Evermile’s AI tools will complement Click Labs’ existing products, including Tookan, JungleWorks, Yelo, and Hippo, by automating retail workflows from order preparation and delivery to SLA tracking and customer engagement.
As AI reshapes ecommerce, small and mid-sized retailers are under pressure to meet higher customer expectations and operational complexities without the resources of major retail chains. Traditional enterprise solutions are often too complex or costly, increasing the technology gap for SMEs.
“We developed Evermile to bridge the technology gap for independent retailers,” said Omer Goldschmidt, co-founder and CEO of Evermile. “Our goal has always been to empower small teams to compete effectively without needing complex, costly tools or large teams. Joining Click Labs allows us to expand this mission globally across more markets, sectors, and delivery models.”
Evermile’s platform serves as a “virtual operations manager,” automating up to 70% of daily workflows for SMEs using proprietary AI agents and orchestration engines. It handles tasks like delivery routing, support resolution, SLA monitoring, and personalized marketing. Since its 2023 launch, clients have included UK retailers Ottolenghi, CakeBox, and Paul’s Bakery.
This move reflects a larger trend of consolidation in retail and logistics tech sectors, following recent deals like DoorDash acquiring SevenRooms, Uber investing in Trendyol, and GlobalE purchasing ReturnGO, all aiming to streamline fragmented retail workflows into unified systems.
“Evermile offers outstanding technology, extensive operational knowledge, and a platform that merchants appreciate,” said Samar Singla, CEO of Click Labs. “Together, we’ll assist retailers in simplifying operations, providing seamless experiences, and thriving in a challenging market.”
Click Labs indicates Evermile will initially continue as an independent brand, with its AI capabilities gradually integrated into Click Labs’ product suite, reaching markets in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.
