Argo Recruiting is collaborating with a leading California-based defense law firm to find a Senior Employment Law Attorney with extensive experience in school district defense and third-party administrator employment panels. This entirely remote role suits a seasoned attorney who excels in a dynamic, litigation-driven setting and seeks enduring career advancement within a cooperative legal team.
Position Overview
We are on the lookout for an experienced Employment Law Attorney with over 15 years of practice in employment litigation, particularly in PAGA-inclusive cases, school district defense, and third-party administrator panels. You will engage with public entities and educational institutions, dealing with intricate employment conflicts and advising clients on litigation strategy, defense, and compliance issues.
Key Requirements
– Over 15 years of employment law defense experience
– Proven experience in school district employment defense
– Experience with school third-party administrator employment panels
– Extensive understanding of PAGA, wage & hour, and class action claims
– Trial experience preferred but not essential
– Background in public entity defense is advantageous
– JD from an accredited U.S. law school
– Active California Bar license in good standing
– Strong research, writing, negotiation, and analytical abilities
– Dedication to proactive case management and litigation strategy
