Lisbon’s Bling Energy Raises €15 Million to Propel Portugal’s Energy Transition

Bling Energy, a Portuguese startup dedicated to energy transition, has received an initial €15 million investment from BlueCrow Capital. This funding will allow the company to expand its subscription service to 3,000 more residential customers, marking a new growth phase aimed at making energy transition simpler and more accessible for Portuguese households.

Offering a solar energy subscription model, Bling Energy has formed a €15 million strategic partnership with BlueCrow Capital. This investment will help extend the service to over 3,000 new residential customers, strengthening its position in a rapidly changing sector. The planned expansion includes 20 MW of installations, consisting of 11 MWp of solar and 9 MWh of storage.

Bernardo Fernandez, Founder and CEO of Bling Energy, stated, “This partnership is more than capital. It represents a path built on vision, discipline, and real impact. We will scale up ambitiously, focusing on an accessible and intelligent energy transition without entry barriers for consumers.”

This agreement aims to consolidate Bling Energy’s growth strategy, which emphasizes a straightforward and transparent approach trusted by users and partners. BlueCrow’s involvement is expected to boost Bling’s capacity to meet the rising demand for affordable and reliable solar energy solutions.
