Google CEO Introduces New Calendar Feature Following Stripe Co-Founder’s Request

On Wednesday, Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced on X about Google Calendar’s new event duplicate feature, which was requested by Stripe co-founder John Collison last month via X. On July 5, Collison suggested a Ctrl-click option for duplicating events, tagging Pichai in his post. Pichai responded by implementing the change, saying, “This feature is now live for everyone on Google Calendar on the web — thanks for the suggestion!” Some users humorously asked Collison to address their own issues, such as Box CEO Aaron Levie jokingly requesting Collison to get Waymo to work on El Camino through Silicon Valley.
